This Privacy Policy explains what information colonyflow.games (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit the site or play the browser version of Colony Flow, and how it is used.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not require accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information to use this site or play the game.
2. Game save data (stored on your device)
The browser game stores your progress — unlocked levels, stars, coins and boosters — in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it.
3. Cookies, analytics and advertising
- Analytics. If enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, country, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address; see Google's Privacy Policy.
- Advertising. If enabled, we show ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Users in the EEA/UK are shown a consent message where required.
- No first-party tracking cookies. The site itself does not set tracking cookies.
4. Embedded YouTube videos
Level pages embed walkthrough videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and a video only loads after you click its thumbnail. Once you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect data as described in its own privacy policy.
5. External links
We link to third-party sites such as the Apple App Store, Google Play and YouTube. Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to review their policies.
6. Children's privacy
The site is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game runs entirely in the browser without registration.
7. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, most data requests can be satisfied on your own device (e.g. clearing site data removes your game save). For questions about analytics or advertising data, contact the providers above, or reach us and we'll help.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when enabling analytics or ads). The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision.
